“Your Satisfaction, Our Priority” is a fundamental principle that guides all aspects of the work at Nexus American Academy. We believe that transparency and credibility are the cornerstone for building a strong relationship with our learners.

The academy recognizes the importance of flexibility and transparency in dealing with its learners; therefore, it has established a clear policy for tuition and training fee refunds. The refund conditions are primarily based on the timing of the cancellation and whether there are exceptional circumstances that warrant it. This policy applies to all students enrolled in academic and training programs, whether remote or in-person at the academy’s premises. By registering for any program, the student acknowledges and agrees to abide by these terms, regardless of the payment method (cash, electronic, or any other means).

Cases of Cancellation and Refund:

1. Program cancellation by the academy (circumstances beyond control) :

(1-1) In case of program cancellation: If the academy cancels a training or academic program for reasons beyond its control, the student has the right to submit a full refund request electronically via admissions@naa.com.eg. The accounts department will process the transaction automatically using the same original payment method, without deducting any additional fees, within no more than 25 working days from the date of submission and approval of the request.

(1-2) In case of program postponement: If the academy is forced to postpone the start of the program for reasons beyond its control, students will be notified in advance as early as possible. The student will be given two options:

Full refund of fees.
Postponement of the program start date to another date that suits the student.

Important Note: In the case of postponement, the student is not entitled to request a refund of fees except when the program starts, and within a maximum of 25 days from the start date. In this case, the student is entitled to replace the program with another one of the same or higher fees (with payment of the fee difference), and is not entitled to transfer their seat to another party.

2. After the start of the training/study program:

(1-3) After the program starts:

a) In general: The student is not entitled to a refund of fees after the program has started. Nor is the student entitled to postpone their studies except in cases of exceptional circumstances that require submitting supporting documents. The Admissions and Registration Center will evaluate the case and circumstances and provide a response within 7 days of submitting the request.

b) Definition of exceptional circumstances: Exceptional circumstances that may warrant consideration for postponement or refund (at the discretion of the academy) include the following:

Serious medical conditions: that prevent the student from attending or performing normally, and require submission of a medical certificate from a qualified physician.
Evidence of bereavement or psychological trauma: or any other form of significant hardship.
Military service.

3. In the case of self-paced study (SELF PACED):

(1-4) Self-paced study:

Within the self-learning model offered by the academy, where students are registered directly with partner universities and accredited institutes, the refund policy follows a clear approach. The student cannot apply for a refund in self-paced learning because the student has acknowledged all the information available on the website.
