Bachelor of Health Sciences (60 Credits) – 2 Years

Program Overview:
The Bachelor of Health Sciences (BHS) is a two-year undergraduate program designed to provide foundational and applied knowledge in health, wellness, and healthcare systems. The program integrates biological, social, and behavioral sciences to prepare students for roles in health promotion, public health, and healthcare administration or for further professional study.

Year 1 (30 Credits)

Semester 1 (15 Credits)

  1. Introduction to Health Sciences – 3 credits
    Overview of health systems, determinants of health, and global health challenges.
  2. Human Anatomy and Physiology I – 3 credits
    Structure and function of the human body with emphasis on major organ systems.
  3. Health Communication and Education – 3 credits
    Principles of effective communication in health promotion and patient education.
  4. Biostatistics and Research Methods – 3 credits
    Introduction to data collection, analysis, and interpretation in health research.
  5. Information Technology in Health – 3 credits
