You can teach English with a Level 3 qualification but a Level 5 certificate is more comprehensive and so it allows you to find better job opportunities, higher salaries and in potentially more countries.
You can but we’d only recommend doing so if your English is at a near-native level.
No – you don’t need any particular qualifications to take our Course but of course, it’s always beneficial if you do have a degree. You can still find work teaching English abroad or online, too.
To cut a long story short, you can pretty much teach English abroad in any non-native English speaking country. From Japan to Jordan and Asia to Africa, there’s plenty of demand for TEFL teachers the world over.
You can actually start looking as soon as you’ve started your Course – you’ll just need to let any prospective employers know that your qualification is in progress. Good luck and happy TEFLing!
